Getty ImagesDolphins wide receiver Armon Binns tore the anterior cruciate and medial collateral ligaments in his knee on Sunday, Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reported this evening.The injuries will end Binns' season, Jackson said.The 23-year-old Binns appeared in three games for Miami in 2012 after being claimed off waivers from Cincinnati. Binns began 2012 as a regular for the Bengals, catching 18 passes for 210 yards and a score in eight games (five starts) for Cincinnati.Binns was to vie for one of the Dolphins' WR depth chart spots beyond Mike Wallace,[url=http://www.gmcmaroc.com/]cheap ghd straighteners[/url], Brian Hartline and Brandon Gibson. Second-year pro Rishard Matthews, another contender for a backup role, could miss multiple weeks with a not-yet-known injury, Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald reported Sunday.Jeff Fuller and Marvin McNutt are other wideouts competing for roster spots in Miami. |
