| Suzuki's homer puts Yankees in front on their way to win over O's
NEW YORK, Aug. 30 () -- A two-run homer by Ichiro Suzuki highlighted a five-run New York fifth Friday and launched the Yankees to an 8-5 win over Baltimore.Baltimore scored three times in the top of the fifth, two of the runs scoring on a home run from Danny Valencia, to give the Orioles a 4-2 lead.New York, however, quickly responded by batting around in the bottom half of the inning to take control of the opening game of the series.Curtis Granderson opened the fifth with a double and scored on another double from Mark Reynolds. T.J.
