She won first place on the state level and was invited to compete regionally in NYC. We were somewhat overwhelmed by the entire experience and so we chose not to go any further with it. Grace enjoyed the first pageant so much we entered her in another pageant when she was 5. Grace won in several categories including over all and was presented with a 1 year modeling contract with a local agency. This did not deter her, ever. <br />She attended a ProScout event in Boston, being one of only about 150 chosen from 1500 to perform a monologue in front of agents/casting directors from all over the country in addition to the almost 3000 people in the audience that day. As of 2011 She has accomplished two of those goals. She has still not made it to pilot season. Her hearing loss has progressed over the years and she now relies on hearing aids to hear clearly. She is willing to remove them for film if requested.
