CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va., Aug. 7 () -- Navigation training software worth $3 million has been donated to the U.S. Naval Academy by Northrop Grumman,[url=http://www.tinfoti.com]Christian Louboutin Men[/url], the company reports.The donation comprised 100 licenses for the company's Voyage Management System which incorporates the Electronic Chart Display and Information System-Navy, a fleet navigation standard either installed or to be installed on more than 200 vessels.The VMS software will be used by midshipmen in the academy's computer lab, classrooms and in underway operations on training craft.The company first donated VMS software in 2001 and this year's gift brings the total amount of donated software to more than $16 million. "Northrop Grumman is honored to contribute to the development of tomorrow's naval officers," said Teri Marconi, vice president and general manager of Northrop Grumman's Navigation and Maritime Systems Division. "Through our longtime partnership with the U.S. Naval Academy Foundation and the academy itself, it is our pleasure and privilege to support our future warfighters."
