Pickers rocks and rolls to a Pick on History Channel,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]
Tonight's episode of "American Pickers" was titled "Cheap Pick." Frank Fritz and Mike Wolfe, are the professional hunters who travel across the country picking through rusty gold; those hidden treasures covered with rust from age. That rusty gold is what keeps them in business,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], buying low and selling high,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but even they find things that they do not want to part with.
As the episode starts,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], they are meeting with "Cheap Trick" guitarist Rick Nielsen,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], who opens the doors to his museum and private collection. Frank is like a little kid all over again as he is just a super fan. As they follow Rick in his SmartCar to his warehouse, they find storage units filled with rock and roll memorabilia. Frank found some posters and old record albums from long ago and tee shirts from concerts in Japan and several checkered clothing and musical items. Rick is not used to selling his items, and asks Mike to give him a fair price. As he mulls it over, he agrees to the solid offer. Now Rick knows why he kept all this stuff. As they checked out another unit, there were numerous guitars,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], many one-of-a-kind,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], made specifically for one concert. Trunks that held guitars and other memorabilia while traveling,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], were giving both Mike and Frank the chills of knowing this music icon. Finally,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Rick started coming back at the pricing, and they agreed on two cases that have been around the world for $1,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych],750. Then they found a piece of audio equipment that he got from the band "The Who." Before they left,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Frank just had to have a checkered guitar and offered $2,800, but decided to give the guitar to the "American Pickers" for a permanent loan to be played by Rick whenever he comes to their Nashville store.
Danielle called them with a lead from a woman named Barb, who has bikes and stuff. They have a museum of log cabins and are willing to sell some. Frank found a robot called "Big Loo" a robot made in 1963 by Marx, although not in best condition; he got it for $175. When they found the bikes, they were answers to Mike's dreams. Late 19th century ones were ones that Mike just loved. The one he had his eye on, was not for sale.
As they passed a place that looked good,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], they found a man named John,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], with lots of gasoline memorabilia. He was not used to selling things. They found a 1964 Vespa All State sold by Sears. They found a seat cushion from long ago with and gasoline logo and two large metal signs for a chicken hatchery.
As Danielle was having the bow and arrows appraised,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], she found that the arrows came from the Philippines, but the arrow was from the United States,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], from the 1930s that resemble a Native American bow and both items are valuable and another profitable day for the "American Pickers" on the road in Wisconsin.
