Michael Ansara, known for 'Star Trek,' American Indian roles, dead
CALABASAS, Calif., Aug. 3 () -- Michael Ansara, the U.S. actor known for his roles as American Indians and as a Klingon commander in "Star Trek" has died, his former publicist said. He was 91.The cause of Ansara's death Wednesday at his Calabasas, Calif., home was not reported.Ansara was perhaps most beloved by legions of fans for his recurring role as Klingon commander Kang, The Hollywood Reporter said. He was one of only seven actors to play the same role in three different versions of the series -- the original series, "Deep Space Nine" and "Voyager."The Syrian-born actor played a variety of ethnicities in his roles, including American Indian,[url=http://www.godsdrama.com/]cheap true religion[/url], Italian and Hispanic, The New York Times reported.
