Elvis Presley tribute artist Pete Paquette is due Meadowvale Theatre on Saturday for any show that highlights the background music from the man from Mississippi who had been better known as The King,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].

In 2003,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], when he was 18, he entered his first major Presley tribute contest,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the Collingwood Elvis Festival. Since then,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], he's scored high places at the Ultimate Elvis Contest in Memphis and the Ottawa Gatineau Elvis Festival.
He's twice been named grand champion in the Collingwood festival and has also captured titles at the Horseshoe Casino and Lake George New York Elvis festivals,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
Closer to home,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], he finished first within the Adult Early Years category and was crowned best overall tribute artist at the 2009 Toronto Elvis Festival,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], held at Stage West Theatre.
