Elbit supplies electro-optic system for Brazilian border monitoring
HAIFA, Israel, April 29 () -- Electro-optic observation system for a Brazilian border monitoring program is being supplied by a subsidiary of Israel's Elbit Systems Ltd.The systems are for the first phase of the country's Sisfron project. They will be supplied under a contract awarded to Savis Tecnologia e Sistemas S.A., a subsidiary of Embraer Defensa and Seguranca S.A."The electro-optic systems will be supplied within a year, starting in 2014, as part of the first phase of the Brazilian multiyear "Sisfron" Integrated Border Monitoring System," Elbit said.
