Miami jail doors mistakenly open for second time, long bear parajumpers, results in brawl
MIAMI, July 4 () -- An inmate at Miami's Turner Guilford Knight jail was injured when a malfunction caused cell doors to open and four other inmates attacked him, isabel marant sneakers, officials said. The incident on June 14 was the second time the newly installed high-tech doors opened unintentionally, though the May 20 incident didn't result in a brawl, the Miami Herald reported Wednesday. When the doors opened, four inmates -- Junior Pascal, Jay Stubbs, christian louboutin outlet, Quincy Taylor and Richard Holt -- rushed into a single cell inhabited by Kenneth Williams, Williams said in a written statement. He said the men attacked him so he ran out of his cell and jumped over the second-floor tier to the floor below. He severely injured his ankle and back in the fall.Police took control of the four men and found them to be carrying at least two homemade shanks, the Herald said. The men were being housed in the maximum security wing where high-risk inmates are kept to protect themselves and others.Police said Williams, along with his twin brother, ran the violent "New Moneii" gang. He had gotten into a fight with a fellow inmate a few months ago, jail officials said, which may have been the motive behind the June 14 attack against him.Jail officials said they're evaluating what caused the door malfunction and have turned off the new technology that allows them to open all doors at once from a control panel.
