I stopped in to the Toms Shoes pop-up store in Venice on Friday to reconnect with the brand's founder Blake Mycoskie. I had been one of the first individuals to talk about him back in 2006. from Argentina, where he'd gone to relax, play polo and volunteer. He never visited college but is really a natural-born entrepreneur who loves to discuss everyone from Richard Branson to Ralph Lauren,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], with whom he recently collaborated on the limited edition line of Toms. And that he will pay for his employees,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], all 30 of these,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], to go on shoe drops with him all over the world -- so they believe in the merchandise as much as he is doing.
