The registration system is going to be provided at the Mehrauli sub-registrar office from Monday and within next couple of months it will likely be extended to remaining 12 sub-registrar offices,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
The machine is going to be highly secured as proper audit trail and cross verification of transaction could be ensured,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
Officials said the internet system will make sure transparency and get rid of the role of middlemen within the registration process,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
Under the new system,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], individuals will even be able to pay registration fees on the internet and get appointments with senior officials of sub-registrar office for verification of documents.
The sub-registrar office in Mehrauli continues to be renovated to offer visitors a sleek and comfortable ambiance. The remaining 12 sub-registrar offices will also be being renovated to supply people various amenities including tea,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], coffee and snacks.
"The online property transaction system is being launched to ensure that people don't face any difficulty in registration of properties,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]," said an official.

Officials said the concept introducing an registration system evolved after collection of registration fees significantly went up after its hike in May last year,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
The federal government has set a target of collecting Rs 4,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych],300 crore from stamps and registration fees in 2012-13.
The government had increased the registration fee for properties valued above Rs 50 lakh and lifted top of the cap of Rs 50,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych],000 as maximum registration,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], resulting in rise in registration fees for high-value properties.
As part of the reform initiative,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the government a week ago had launched electronic-stamping facility to completely do away with stamp paper of all denominations. Earlier,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], e-stamping was applicable to values of Rs 501 and above.
